Tes Nez Iah is Navajo for Tall Cotton Wood Tree that are growing apart or scattered.
This picture was taken September 2002 with my digital camera. Digital photography at that time was relatively new, and the technology was in it's beginning stages so these pictures are grainy and low resolution.

Here is a picture of the Tes Nez Iah gas station and motel that is just behind it. Now this placed it fenced up, it closed down a couple years ago and appears to be set for demolition in the near future.
Tes Nez Iah is located between Dennehotso and Mexican Water, Az on U.S. Highway 160.
